Demographic Crisis. Ukrainians Die, But Don’t Born

12.000 Ukrainians died from COVID-19, and more than 30.000 civilians were killed by the Russian war

There are 2 main reasons for the extinction of Ukrainians. The first is more or less modern, and it is COVID. The second reason is static, and it is the neighbourhood with Russia. An aggressive "brother" by the side is an eternal problem of our state.

3 years of the COVID-19 pandemic took the lives of 12.000 Ukrainians, and over 30.000 civilians were killed in 439 days of full-scale war against Ukraine. Currently, the UN officially registered 8.000 victims among unarmed Ukrainians, including 480 children. However, these are only preliminary data collected in free and de-occupied territories. In Mariupol alone, according to the most cautious assumptions, the Russians killed 22.000 Ukrainians. Unfortunately, this number is increasing every day.

Miscarriages. Currently, doctors don't talk about it out loud, but because of the Russian war in Ukraine, thousands of women all over Ukraine experienced miscarriages and the pain of a frozen pregnancy. These little babies in their mother's womb were supposed to be happy children, but they were killed by the war.

Further. Due to the Russian war, 7 million Ukrainians fled abroad. The COVID-19 quarantine in Ukraine will last until June 30. However, we do not know when the war will end. We do not know how many pre-war 41.167.335 remain alive and will enjoy the freedom we are now fighting for.
