This morning Rishi Sunak and James Cleverley met Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team in Stansted airport. There has been no official release of the negotiations yet, but as Zelenskyy reported in his Telegram channel, the main topic was the cooperation of states in the defence sphere.
"Informed the prime minister of Great Britain about the situation at the front and about the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in weapons and military equipment. It is important for Ukraine to get the necessary weapons from our allies to stop the Russian offensive and liberate all temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The president thanked the prime minister of Great Britain for everything that the state, its leaders and people do for Ukraine: humanitarian, financial and defence support, as well as providing shelter to those who fled to the Kingdom due to the war.
As reported by Rishi Sunak's press secretary, the PM instructed Ben Wallace to analyze the situation with aircraft that Great Britain could provide to Ukraine.
