Slovakia is making a significant contribution to the victory of Ukraine. This state handed over howitzers and fighter jets to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and opened arms for thousands of Ukrainians who fled the war.

"Discussed further defence cooperation between Ukraine and Slovakia with president Zuzana Caputova. Invited to join the implementation of the Peace Formula. We discussed joint international events," Zelenskyy said.
On January 12, the president of Ukraine also had a personal meeting with the speaker of the Latvian Saeima Edvards Smiltēns and telephone conversations with the president of Kenya, William Ruto.
