On February 15, 2021, a vote took place regarding providing a tranche of support to Ukraine.
On February 16, the decision of the European Parliament will be submitted to the Council of the EU, after which, in case of a positive result, it will be published in the Official Journal.
On February 11, the decision on the tranche for Ukraine was approved by the EU Council at the level of ambassadors.
"The current geopolitical tensions are having a serious economic impact on Ukraine. Member States (EU) are ready to provide macro-financial assistance in the amount of €1.2 billion. Today we decided to support the proposal of the European Commission so that this assistance would reach Ukraine without delay," minister of economy, finance and the restoration of France by Bruno Le Maire, president of the Council of the EU.
