Encouraged Schoolchildren to Go the War

On September 1, at the solemn opening of the school year, Russia proposed the children of Crimea join the army

As it has already become apparent, the Putin Army feels a shortage of personnel after the Ukrainian army has killed more than 52.000 people from the Russian armed forces. Practice also shows that Vladimir Putin tends to sacrifice nationalities not directly connected with "clear Russian blood" and Moscow. Therefore, as a matter of habit, propagandistic representatives of the Russian authorities called for the children to go to war from temporarily annexed Crimea.

The head of the public organization KrymSos Oleksii Telnenko said that on September 1, the occupiers called high school students not to open a university next year but to go to the army.

"On September 1, in the lessons of patriotism in the schools of Simferopol, the so-called "heroes" of the so-called "special operations" told about the prospects of contract service in the ranks of the Russian Army. Thus, high school students are recruited into the Russian army after graduation," said Oleksii Telnenko.

A public figure reports that such actions of the Crimean authorities subordinate to the Russian Federation violate 6 norms of international law. The occupiers had violated the article of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights prohibiting any propaganda for war. Similar reports were also provided in the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
