Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a document according to which a deliberative body will be established. The head of state will monitor it. The new Ukrainian structure will deal with the Crimean issue. The president's office gave the politicians 1 month to submit proposals, after which the body should be formed.
According to the published document, the body will deal with:
- The processes of the return of Crimea to Ukraine;
- Protection of citizens' rights;
Note that the Ukrainian side never ruled out the possibility of holding a referendum on the territory of Crimea so that the peninsula's inhabitants could choose to be part of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, or be independent.
- Overcoming the consequences and compensation of the damage caused to the state of Ukraine, its citizens, and legal entities due to the aggression of the Russian Federation.
All paragraphs of the new bill were in line with the current Constitution. The regulation also states that the advisory board shall be composed of the chairman, the secretary, and other members of the advisory committee who shall participate voluntarily.
Note that recently Scholz confirmed his consent to the use of the German gun for the liberation of Crimea.
