This announcement was made by Estonia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Margus Tsahkna, on the social network Kh.
"Our parliament, by an overwhelming majority, adopted a law that will allow the use of frozen assets of Russia for the benefit of Ukraine! I hope the president will declare it a law as soon as possible," Tsahkna stated.
He added that Estonia's initiative has brought Europe one step closer to setting a significant precedent.
As reported by Ukrinform, on May 8, EU permanent representatives agreed to use the proceeds from frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine's recovery and military defense against Russian aggression.
