This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
"The EU has never before taken such large-scale trade liberalization measures against any country. This opens up additional opportunities for our business, and our products become more competitive in the European market. We have been negotiating the abolition of customs duties with our European colleagues, and we are grateful that they heard us and supported Ukraine,” said the head of the Ukrainian parliament.
As Russia has blocked Ukraine's access to the seas, the cabinet of ministers of Ukraine is negotiating with the agencies of Poland, Romania, Lithuania, and Germany to use their ports to supply Ukrainian products to markets in Europe and the world.
"We have thwarted the enemy's plans for a complete blockade of our economy. We continue to work to ensure that, in addition to the EU and the United Kingdom, the decision to abolish customs duties on Ukrainian products is made by our other allies," said Denys Shmyhal.
We remind you that if Ukraine stops exporting, about 48 million people will face a food and non-food products shortage.
