Finland Is Ready to Provide “Leopards” to Ukraine

Great Britain, the USA, France, Spain and Poland announced the same decision earlier

On January 18, Finland's minister of foreign affairs, Pekka Haavisto, will present the UKRAINE IS YOU project to the public in Davos. As part of the presentation, the readiness of the state to help Ukraine with tanks was announced. Probably it will be Leopards.

"We in Finland have provided 12 military packages to Ukraine, and we are talking about what else we can do as the European Union as a whole and as Scandinavian countries to help Ukraine today. I know that today there is a discussion about the transfer of tanks and other heavy weapons. We in Finland are ready to contribute as much as we can," Pekka Haavisto.

Pekka Haavisto called Zelenskyy's peace formula and environmental protection from the damage caused by the Russian war as separate important issues for implementation.

"We should support Ukraine and think about what is happening, focus on what president Zelenskyy said in his 10-point peace plan and work together to implement it," said Haavisto.

On January 11, Andrzej Duda stated that Poland is ready to transfer a batch of Leopards to Ukraine. On January 12, Sauli Niinisto named the conditions under which Finland would be ready to allocate these tanks for Ukraine.

On the article's cover, you see a meme that Ukrainians created after Annalena Baerbock arrived in Kharkiv. In this way, the people hint that it is time to transfer more Leopards to Ukraine.
