The information was published on April 30 on the website of the French Embassy in Ukraine.
According to the embassy, Macron raised the topic of the shelling of Kyiv on the day when the UN secretary-general and the prime minister of Bulgaria were in the capital. The president of France also voiced his concerns about the shelling of our country, the bombing of cities, and, in particular, the deterioration of the situation in Mariupol. Despite numerous international demands to stop the genocide and destruction of the city, and to begin to respect humanitarian law, the occupiers continue their criminal actions.
Emmanuel Macron told Volodymyr Zelenskyy that military and humanitarian support for France would continue and intensify. To date, France has transferred a total of 615 tons of humanitarian cargo to Ukraine: medicines, medical equipment, cars, generators, etc. The French experts who arrived in Ukraine to help investigate Russian war crimes will continue their mission and help Ukraine hold the Kremlin accountable.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Emanuel Macron for his support. In turn, the president of France reiterated his support for the sovereignty and integrity of our state.
