Germany Will Allocate an Additional €12 Bln 

The German government is ready to allocate additional funds for military assistance to Ukraine

The Bundestag has decided on additional funding for the sustainability of Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor. On March 29, Germany agreed on the allocation of financial assistance for the military sphere of Ukraine. The assistance project is designed for 9 years. The total amount of €12 billion will be divided into several tranches. Kyiv will receive €3.2 billion in 2023. The remaining amount of €8.8 billion will be transferred to the armed forces of Ukraine in the period from 2024 to 2032 in the form of a credit line.

This decision of the government speaks of Germany's support for Ukraine. Long-term assistance will provide the Ukrainian military with the necessary even if the war drags on.

"With this money, Ukraine can directly buy weapons with the support of the German government. It is important to support Ukraine as much as necessary," Reuters journalist, referring to statements by the German government.

Recall that recently the first 18 Leopard 2 tanks arrived in Ukraine. In total, during the 13 months of the war, Germany allocated more than €14.2 billion to support the Ukrainian army, people, and the restoration of the country.
