IAEA Gave Answer: Whose NPP

Rafael Grossi intervened in the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP again and called the only correct perception of the situation

Reuters informs that the visit of the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, to Kyiv does not go without a trace. The head of the agency expressed the official position of the IAEA regarding the largest nuclear plant in Europe — forced transfer to Russia and its power generation companies. The agency's position is firm and unilateral — Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant belongs to the Ukrainian state.

"This is a matter of international law. We want the war to end immediately, and, of course, the IAEA's position is that this facility is Ukrainian," said Grossi.

The expert also noted that it is impossible to exclude the possibility of a nuclear explosion, as the site is wired to blow, and employees are under pressure. That's why Grossi came to Kyiv. He wants to increase the presence of international experts on the station and establish a nuclear and physical security protection zone. After seven months of incomplete ownership of the nuclear plant, Russia has already put people's lives at risk several times. The complete transfer of the facility could lead to impunity for the actions of the Russian security forces and a large-scale tragedy.
