Government authorities have already ordered banks and traders to comply with restrictions. It is reported that the government has decided also to follow the flow of oil prices — $60 per barrel. Recall that the Kremlin can now sell oil to other countries, but at a limited cost.
It should also be noted that India (as well as China) has become the largest buyer of the aggressor country's oil since the beginning of the full-scale war. Therefore, India's decision could further undermine the Kremlin's politicians' fortune and the aggressor's financial well-being.
New Delhi made the decision after a meeting with representatives of the United States and the G7.
