This took place during the visit of the minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko to Saudi Arabia last week, according to the AMACO company, which is a subsidiary of the Alkhorayef Group.
As noted during the visit, the minister held talks with the chairman of the board of Alkhorayef Industries Sheikh Saad and visited the production facilities of Western Irrigation equipment.
“Alkhorayef Industries operates in over 40 countries and manufactures leading industrial, agricultural, and irrigation equipment around the world. In Ukraine, Alkhorayef Industries is represented by AMAKO Ukraine, which is a representative of the Western irrigation systems manufacturer. The company is now one of the world's four largest players in large-scale irrigation, helping food producers meet growing demand in an environmentally friendly and profitable way,” the company said.
The president of AMACO Ukraine, Adriano Luz, noted that Ukraine is one of the key agricultural countries in the world and, looking towards the future, its importance will only increase.
“AMACO, a subsidiary of the Alkhorayef Group, is uniquely positioned in the Ukrainian market where, within the group, we lead product development, engineering, manufacturing, as well as complete installation and after-sales support for irrigation solutions. We are very proud that the Ministry of agrarian policy of Ukraine has chosen us to be part of this important milestone for the country and for the farming community developing the land through a sustainable approach using Western brand irrigation,” he said.
