The occupiers are purposefully destroying dormitory buildings in Kharkiv. Late in the evening of 17 August, the invaders destroyed a 3-story building with one missile and claimed the lives of seven civilians.
A few hours later, in the dead of night on 18 August, the Russian armed forces fired eight rockets from Belgorod. The missiles were intended for 2 districts of Kharkiv. In one of the districts, missile strikes destroyed a cultural house. No casualties were found. Another set of missiles destroyed part of a 4-story dormitory. The hostel in Kharkiv was residential. It served visitors and those who lost their homes due to Russian aggression. At 4:30 in the morning, some of these people were on the verge of death — 18 people were injured in the explosion. They were treated. 2 Ukrainians can't be saved.
The Russian Federation acknowledges the attacks on hostels. The aggressor states that there were foreign mercenaries in the buildings. According to Russian data, the "liberators" killed about 90 foreign fighters from Ukraine.,
The night from 17 to 18 August was one of the most tragic during the war. Under enemy, shelling was Krasnograd in the Kharkiv region. The occupants destroyed more than 10 buildings, killed two civilians, injured one adult, and injured a 12-year-old child.
