Latvian Arm Donations to Ukraine

On January 19, the country entered 7 states that published lists of weapons being prepared for Ukraine before the Ramstein summit

On January 19, The Tallinn Pledge was signed in Estonia. Defence ministers of 7 states, Estonia, the UK, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Czechia, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovakia and Spain agreed to support Ukraine in its "heroic resistance."

In accordance with the joint statement, Latvia will transfer this military equipment to Ukraine:

  • Stingers and shells;
  • 2 units of M-17 helicopters;
  • Machine guns with ammunition;
  • Several dozen drones;
  • Shells for howitzers M109.

Here is a crucial moment: these are all Stringers, that Latvia has. Glory to Latvia. 

We remind you that on January 17, the defence minister of Latvia Inara Murniece met with the defence minister of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov.
