Macron Admitted War Crime Signs in Ukraine

Emanuel Macron first spoke about war crimes from Russia, visiting Irpin

On June 16 Emmanuel Macron visited Ukraine in the company of colleagues from Germany, Italy, and Romania. Politicians held a meeting with the president of Ukraine. But before that, Western guests visited destroyed by the occupiers Irpin. Life there begins to revive — people return home and rebuild. But even this situation has frightened politicians. Emanuel Macron, after visiting Irpin, made the first word after the outbreak of Russia's war against Ukraine.

"We have the first traces of war crimes. It is a brand of barbarism," said the president of France.

Note that 1.200 war crimes have already been recorded in the Kyiv region. Recently, an independent UN Commission of Inquiry visited Kyiv to continue the work and punish all Russian soldiers in the future.

It is worth noting that some political leaders of other countries visited the Kyiv region earlier. At that time, the destroyed territories were deserted and dangerous, and mass graves of peaceful Ukrainian residents were held there. After a visit to the previously occupied Ukrainian city, Macron supported Ukraine. He said that Ukrainians are heroic people who deserve to win the war against Russia.

More recently, Macron argued that it was necessary to preserve Putin's authority and end the war through negotiations and concessions. But seeing the destruction in the Kyiv region, he acknowledged the cruelty of the Russian army.
