Mariupol’s Defenders Will Be Condemned as Nazis

The parliament of Russia proposes to recognize the Ukrainian military regiment "Azov" as nazis and did not allow to exchange

Less than a day has passed since the Russian side agreed to open a humanitarian corridor for Ukrainian wounded from the Azovstal factory in Mariupol. It was possible to reach an agreement only if the wounded were removed to occupied territory. Badly wounded, rotting in unsanitary conditions at the factory, defenders of Ukraine were taken prisoner. But the Ukrainian side insists on an early exchange of prisoners of war — first of all, the Ukrainians want to return fighters from Mariupol.

Russia took the first step — gave wounded Ukrainians medical care.

However, now in the lower house of the parliament of the Russian Federation raised the issue of the trial of soldiers of the Azov regiment. The Russian side wants to try the Ukrainians who prevented the occupiers from taking Mariupol as nazis.

"Nazi criminals should not be at home. We must do everything to bring them to justice," the speaker of the lower house of Russia, Viacheslav Volodyn said.

Viacheslav Volodyn instructed the defense committee to prepare the necessary documents for the trial of the Ukrainians.

We note that it took Russian administrators less than a day to change their position and come up with a way to circumvent international laws. It is also worth taking into account the fact that Russia does not have factual evidence for those words that are systematically voiced by accusing the Ukrainian military.

Along with the deception of the whole world, the Russian government is abandoning its soldiers in Ukraine.
