Today, most of the doctors who serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in peacetime were ordinary doctors, nurses, worked in ambulances. Now they are faced with conclusions that have never been in their practice. On the initiative of the first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, and Poland, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, medical courses were organized for Ukrainian paramedics. The main area of training for Ukrainian doctors in the courses that will start tomorrow in Poland is training in air evacuation of civilians and soldiers affected by the war.
According to the head of the National security bureau of Poland, Jacek Siewiera, the state supports Ukrainian doctors and will continue to help Ukraine build the structure of air rescue.
We remind you that earlier courses for Ukrainian doctors were organized by the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center and Romania.
As of the end of July 2022, Russia has killed at least 40 military doctors. More than 110 are wounded.
