Meeting of the Commanders-in-Chief of the Armies of Ukraine and Poland

On December 21, a dialogue between Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Rajmund Andrzejczak ook place

Today there is no president in Ukraine, but there are 2 commanders-in-chief of the states' armies at once. CinC AF of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi and the chief commander of Polish Armed Forces Rajmund Andrzejczak met in Kyiv. The parties discussed the situation in different military areas of Ukraine and possible branches of development. Zaluzhnyi stressed that the support of our Polish brothers plays a massive role in Ukraine's resistance.

Valerii Zaluzhnyi, on behalf of Ukraine, thanked general Rajmund Andrzejczak for the military packages that the state regularly transfers to Ukraine: weapons, humanitarian aid, and military defence kits. Separately, Zaluzhniy thanked Poland for providing treatment and rehabilitation for the Ukrainian military on the territory of their country.

"I appreciate the opportunity to conduct professional training of our military personnel on Polish territory. Together we will implement the strategically important decision on the transition of Ukraine to the heavy weapons of NATO member states," Zaluzhnyi.

Zaluzhnyi quoted Jerzy Giedroyc — "Without a free Ukraine, a free Poland is unthinkable," adding that these words are incredibly relevant today.

"We are the ones who have the honour and responsibility to fight for the freedom of Ukraine and all of Europe side by side," CinC AFU.

We remind you that Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in Washington right now as the war has entered a new phase and the leaders of Ukraine and the United States need to discuss new strategies.
