On September 28, a group of Ukrainian parliamentarians led by MP David Arakhamia held talks with the US House of Representatives leader, Kevin Owen McCarthy. According to Arakhamia, these topics were raised during the meeting:
- Bipartisan support of the Senate during the vote for the US budget resolution for the coming year;
- Training of Ukrainian pilots and tank crews in handling modern NATO standard military equipment;
- Increase of the military support from the United States and the quality of the work of the headquarters for monitoring arms deliveries.
"We are working to ensure that our military has everything necessary for an early victory," David Arakhamia.
Further, the Ukrainian delegation, which also includes the Ukrainian ambassador to the United States, Oksana Markarova, will have meetings with members of the White House and Congress, the US State department and the Senate Ukraine Caucus.
