British prime minister Liz Truss continues the great policy of Great Britain to support Ukraine. On the eve of her speech at the UN General Assembly in New York, Liz Truss made several statements regarding supporting our state with weapons, training and strengthening international efforts.
According to the PM, next year, the UK will allocate about £2.3 billion (as of this year) or more for military support to Ukraine. Liz Truss is determined to focus the attention of the world community on the exploits that the Ukrainian army is capable of with the necessary weapons and support.
"Ukraine's victories in recent weeks have been inspiring. Time and time again, these brave men have challenged doubters and shown what they can do when given the military, economic and political support they need," minister Truss.
Liz Truss articulated and delivered a clear message to Ukraine and its people: "The UK will continue to stand by you every step of the way. Your safety is our safety."
According to BBC, the exact details of the upcoming military support package have not yet been made public, but it is known that it will include the M270 MLRS.
One of the purposes of Liz Truss's participation in the UN General Assembly is to catalyze international efforts to stop Russia from blackmailing the world with oil and gas.
"By turning off the taps on the NS-1 gas pipeline, Putin exposed millions of people in Europe to a cold and difficult winter. Too many lives – in Ukraine, in Europe and around the world – are being manipulated due to dependence on Russian energy. We need to work together to end this once and for all," Liz Truss.
