Microsoft will help the Ukrainian prosecutor's office to establish a chain of crimes from Russia. This was reported in the office of the prosecutor general of Ukraine. Attorney general Andrii Kostin and Microsoft vice president Brad Smith agreed to cooperate during the meeting in Munich. The company, with a headquarters in Washington, will provide Ukraine with access to the Microsoft Azure platform. This platform will enhance the collection and analysis of the evidence of Russia's war crimes against Ukraine.
One way to punish all those responsible for crimes against the Ukrainian people is to conduct responsible procedures.
"Establishing a complete chain of those behind the crimes is impossible without using OSINT methods – intelligence based on open data," said the Ukrainian prosecutor general, Andrii Kostin.
Microsoft has supported Ukraine since the outbreak of full-scale war. In 2023, the company decided to expand support not only by providing access to Azure but also by providing technological assistance. The cost of humanitarian aid is estimated at $100 million.
