According to Estonian defence minister Hanno Pevkur, the state plans to transfer to Ukraine one of the largest military packages since February 2022. The new €113 million defence aid package will include 122 and 155 mm artillery weapons, traction equipment, and more than 100 Carl Gustaf grenade launchers. Since the beginning of the war, the state has transferred military assistance to Ukraine for more than €1 billion.
It is reported that artillery weapons are transferred from the stocks of MoD Estonia, so the state ordered the K9 self-propelled guns from South Korea.
Estonia will probably join the initiative to restore medical institutions in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine.
