Missile Shelling of the Dnipro Airport

On March 15, for the second time since the start of the war, the Russians fired rockets at the airfield in the Dnipro

The head of the main department of the State Emergency Service in the region Andrii Kulbach confirmed the information about the airstrikes. According to him, the shelling was probably carried out from the Iskander missile system. Two missiles were launched, with which the enemy destroyed the runway, making it inoperable. The entire airport building was also damaged, windows were broken, walls and the terminal were destroyed. The kerosene tank was damaged, causing a severe leak. Rescuers are currently working to eliminate the consequences of the leak.

Also, the prosecutor's office of the Dnepropetrovsk region reported about 1 wounded.

We will remind you that on March 11 the Russian occupiers struck 3 airstrikes across the city. In particular, the rocket hit near a kindergarten and a large apartment building and also hit a two-story shoe factory, which caused a fire. Also on the morning of March 12, explosions were heard in the Dnipro. The mayor informed that air defense worked in the city.

After the start of a full-scale Russian war, martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization began. Most European countries and the United States impose strong economic sanctions on the aggressor country. However, at the request of the President of Ukraine to ban flights over the territory of Ukraine, NATO refused.
