Ukrainian Initiative “Digital4Freedom” in Lugano

On July 5, the Ministry of digital transformation of Ukraine presented at a conference in Switzerland its draft vision of "digital lend-lease" for Ukraine

The minister of digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, presented to the members and guests of the UkraineRecovery conference the Ukrainian vision of "the freest and digital country in the world" and, at the same time, an invitation to other countries and technological leaders of the world to join the "IT-lend-lease" to Ukraine.

"In 2 years, Ukraine has done more in the direction of digital transformation than some European countries in 20 years. We launched the Diia application, which is used by more than 17.5 million Ukrainians, created the world's first electronic passport, which has the same power as a paper one and launched a unique tax space for tech companies Diia.City," Mykhailo Fedorov.

The minister noted that during the war, it was the Ukrainian IT sector that proved to be the most resilient. Despite the bloody conditions in our country, the Ministry of digital transformation is non-stop building a digital state for Ukrainians and polishing the quality of services.

"Digitalization should become the foundation of the recovery plan and rapid economic development of Ukraine. We have a clear plan to implement this ambitious vision — with concrete projects, plans and deadlines. For technological companies, investments in the development of Ukrainian digital infrastructure will be a unique case. Ukraine will become the freest and most digital country in the world," minister Fedorov.

We remind you that yesterday Ukraine presented the plan for the development of green energy and the general plan for the recovery of Ukraine.
