Technologies That Nourish the Land: How a Modern Agricultural System Works
At the 9th International Forum of Agricultural Innovations “New Seed 2025”, Ukrainian company Agroprodservice presented a cutting-edge model of farming that combines sustainability, infrastructure, and smart fertilization to increase productivity and soil health.
According to Roman Vinnichuk, the company's chief agronomist, Agroprodservice is a vertically integrated agricultural enterprise. It operates with its own feed mill, grain mill, elevator, and livestock complex—including 15,000 head of cattle, 155,000 pigs, and poultry farming. This structure allows for closed-loop production, where every link supports the other.
Compost and Integration as Core Strategy
The company places a special focus on organic fertilizers. For the 2025 season alone, 43,000 tons of compost have been applied, with plans to increase this volume.

Compost helps balance soil pH (from 6.2–6.3 to optimal levels), boosts humus content, and improves nutrient uptake.

Application rates: 60 t/ha for soybeans, 80 t/ha for wheat.

Additionally, bird droppings are used to increase nutrient variability and efficiency.
This organic foundation is combined with mineral fertilizers to form a hybrid nutrition strategy.
Precision Fertilization Techniques

For winter wheat: manure is applied in two stages using a Samson applicator.

For spring wheat: a strict scheme—138 kg/ha nitrogen, 26 kg/ha phosphorus and potassium, and 350 l/ha UAN.

Spring barley, grown after sugar beets, yields up to 9.4 t/ha, thanks to proper nutrition and crop rotation.

Corn is fertilized with ammonia water and RCD 5:25:5, preventing phosphorus deficiency even during cold spring periods.
High-Tech Seed Production
Forum participants also visited the Agroprodservice seed plant, which uses a Cimbria automated processing line with a capacity of 25,000 tons per year. The factory features:
