This decision by the German government comes in combination with British and American aid. The US defense minister announced the transfer of HIMARS systems to Ukraine. Britain is ready to deploy M270 launchers in Ukraine. Note that the United States and Britain have already begun to prepare weapons for deployment in the coming weeks.
After the delivery of foreign launchers to Ukraine, the defenders of democracy and territorial integrity will be able to hit targets at a distance of 70 km.
"The United States, Britain, and Germany are determined to support Ukraine in its defense against unprovoked Russian invasion. Russia has shifted its attention to the Donbas region, where it is conducting systematic long-range rocket and artillery shelling of both defensive Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure. To help Ukraine protect its citizens and sovereign territory, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany pledged to provide multiple launch rocket systems with guided MLRS missiles (GMLRS). Ukraine specifically requested this possibility, which will allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hit the invasion forces with accurate fire at a distance of about 70 km," wrote the ministries of defense of the three countries.
