On April 20, the Danish parliament published a joint statement by the defence ministers of Denmark and Holland on the joint purchase and free transfer of 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine. The ministers report that these will be new tanks that will be delivered to Ukraine from the factory at the beginning of next year. The cost of the operation is €165 million, which the countries will pay equally.
Earlier, as part of "such a coalition" at the Ramstein site, in a coalition with Germany, Holland and Denmark, they agreed on the transfer of about 100 Leopard 1A5s to Ukraine.
"The ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine must be met with resolve and further commitment of military support by allies and partners to bolster Ukraine in their heroic resistance against the illegal and unprovoked Russian invasion. We fully support Ukraine's efforts to defend itself and reclaim its territorial integrity," joint statement of Troels Lund Poulsen и Lars Lokke Rasmussen.
We remind you that the next meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group will be held tomorrow at the US airbase in Ramstein.
