The government of Japan has announced extensive sanctions against the aggressor country. The island state has taken measures regarding Russian organizations, companies, and individuals. The assets of 73 legal entities and 39 individuals with Russian citizenship have already been frozen. The sanctions also affected 9 representatives of the authorities from the annexed Crimea and the so-called Donetsk/Luhansk People's Republics, the occupied parts of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. The sanctions also immediately included influential people. Among them, deputy defence minister of Russia Viktor Horemykin, head of the presidential administration for state council activity Oleksandr Kharychev, and head of the Kalashnikov rifle concern Alan Lushnykov. Tokyo has frozen the assets and employees of the Russian general staff of the armed forces and the computer centre.
94 organizations were "whipped" by Japan for violating the peace. 21 of them also received export restrictions. Almost all companies in this list specialize in the technical equipment of the Russian Federation.
On February 3, Japan banned Russia from exporting vaccines, medical equipment, and technology. Such a reaction of the countries of the world to the military aggression by the Kremlin shows that not only Europe and America are against the unfolding events. This means that Putin's country will be punished not only by Europe but also by Asia.
