Tonight the Russians fired missiles at the maternity ward of a hospital in the Zaporizhzhia region. A boy born 2 days ago died. From under the rubble of a two-story building, they pulled out the doctor and the deceased baby's mother.
"On the night of November 23, in the city of Volnyansk, Zaporizhzhia region, as a result of a missile attack on the territory of a local hospital, a 2-story building of a polyclinic maternity ward was destroyed. Currently, there was 1 woman in labour with a newborn child, as well as a doctor in the department. As a result of the attack, a baby born in 2022 died, and a woman and a doctor were rescued from the rubble of the building by the State Emergency Service," SES.
To rescue the victims, 67 people and 14 pieces of equipment were involved. There is no one else under the rubble.
Missile attacks on maternity wards are a fetish of the Russian army. Previously, the Russians had already shelled maternity hospitals, killed mothers with babies and pregnant women (Zhytomyr, Mariupol). Of course, the killers called the maternity hospital "military facilities."
