In 2021, foreign markets were opened for 81 groups of Ukrainian goods in 21 countries. Behind each of these decisions is the demand of the business and the enormous work of many professionals, which can sometimes take years.
"As a result, it has given Ukrainian businesses new opportunities, increased exports of Ukrainian goods, improved trade balance, new jobs and more. In 2022, the positive trend of opening new markets should continue. In addition to the European market, the priority areas are China, MENA (Middle East and North Africa), sub-Saharan Africa, ASEAN and the Far East, South America," said Vladislava Magaletska, head of the state service for food safety and protection of Ukraine consumers.
The main task of the Ukrainian Ministry is to work together with business and work on opening new markets for Ukrainian exports, providing support to producers and removing technical barriers to trade, as well as providing state guarantees for compliance with partner countries.
