On September 11, negotiations between the minister of economy of Ukraine, Yulia Sviridenko and the minister of economy of Luxembourg, Franz Fayo, took place in Kyiv. The head of the Ukrainian side noted that the main driver of the post-war economic recovery of Ukraine will be micro/small/medium businesses. To support entrepreneurs in these areas, Ukraine must provide them with financial support.
In turn, Franco Fayo announced his readiness to organise joint meetings of representatives of the European Investment Fund and the Luxembourg Future Fund. It is expected that these organisations will be able to reach a joint decision on supporting private enterprises in Ukraine, primarily in the areas of restoring the country's infrastructure, green metallurgy and decarbonisation.
We remind you that Korea previously confirmed its interest in the green metallurgy area and its readiness to participate in such projects in Ukraine.
