The deal was confirmed by the Pentagon, with Raytheon Co. of Arizona being awarded the $1,195,985,081 contract for the manufacturing of the AMRAAM missiles, along with the required telemetry systems, spare parts, and engineering support.

Production will be based in Tucson, Arizona, and is scheduled for completion by December 31, 2028. In addition to Ukraine, the contract covers foreign military sales to Bahrain, Bulgaria, Canada, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
