Polish Export Simplification of Ukrainian Products

The state repealed one of the control options for agricultural products from Ukraine

The Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine reported that now Ukrainian grain will go through customs posts quickly because Warsaw removed the mandatory veterinary control for agricultural products. The verification procedure is simplified in the direction of the ports to Gdansk, Gdynia, Swinoujscie, and Szczecin. This applies both to the import of grain for Poland and transit routes from Ukraine to other countries.

"The carrier must present to the Republic of Poland customs inspectors and international CMR invoice with an additional seal," the Ministry said.

In addition, Poland will seal trucks after border and customs controls. This is necessary to identify goods that are not subject to veterinary control. The goods are not subject to veterinary inspection if the consignee is located in Polish ports or EU countries. If the goods are in transit and will be trans-shipped from Ukrainian to European transport, a complete package of checks applies. However, the simplified procedure is possible after submitting the contract with the European carrier.

Recall that recently it became known about the extension of the grain initiative and the conduct of a new sowing company in Ukraine.
