President Zelensky Meets with UK Prime Minister in London

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in London and began a meeting with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom at Downing Street

The two leaders greeted each other warmly before proceeding to hold talks aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, discussing defense cooperation, and addressing the ongoing situation in Eastern Europe.

Zelensky is also scheduled to meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in London. Their discussions are expected to focus on Ukraine's relationship with NATO and regional security matters.

This visit marks Zelensky's second trip to Downing Street since the current Prime Minister took office. In July, the Ukrainian president was the first foreign leader to be hosted in London after the change of government. The Prime Minister also met with Zelensky at the NATO summit earlier that month.

On October 10, President Zelensky will travel to Paris for talks with French President Emmanuel Macron. During this diplomatic tour, Zelensky will meet with leaders from Britain, Italy, and Germany to strengthen alliances and seek continued support.

It is reported that on Friday, October 11, he will visit Berlin to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Initially, Zelensky and Scholz were expected to meet at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany on Saturday, October 12. However, due to scheduling changes, the summit was postponed.
