The so-called "public council" in the Kherson, Lugansk and Donetsk regions called on Putin's puppets, who are the heads of the regions, to hold a referendum on joining the regions to Russia as soon as possible. This is reported by the Russian media resource Ria Novosti. We remind you that this is the same resource that published the message that Ukraine is a non-existent country, an experimental project of the European Union, and a citadel of nazism.
"The public council of the Kherson region turned to the head of the region with the initiative to immediately hold a referendum on recognition as a subject of the Russian Federation. The public council of the Kherson region is sure that the residents will fully support the initiative to hold a referendum," RIA Novosti.
According to the illegitimate "heads" of the regions, the referenda are to be held on October 4.
It must be understood that these manipulations are nothing more than Putin's deliberately failed plan. A referendum on the accession of parts of Ukraine to Russia will have no meaning either for Ukraine or for the world community. In essence, referendums are yet another blackmailing tool for Putin, which he will "promise" not to use if the West agrees to his terms. However, Putin forgot that progressive states do not accept the terms of terrorists, even if not all states have officially recognized Russia as a terrorist country.
October 4 is a holiday in Russia — the day of the unity of Russia. Perhaps, as by May 9, Putin is trying to present his people with another dubious victory and to have time to patch up all the holes in his reputation by this time.
