On September 11, was held negotiations between a team from Germany led by Annalena Baerbock and the Ukrainian side with the participation of Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba. Through minister Baerbock, the Ukrainian side conveyed gratitude to Germany for supporting our country financially and militarily. The parties discussed the transfer of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine to strengthen the air shield over Ukraine, which is especially important on the eve of the cold autumn and winter when Russia will again destroy Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
The parties discussed food security and the presidential initiative Grain From Ukraine, as well as the upcoming Defense Industries Forum, in which both states will take part. The parties also summed up the intermediate results on the path to European integration of Ukraine and agreed to cooperate in returning home every Ukrainian child whom Russia abducted from Ukraine.
On September 12, political consultations between Ukraine and Germany will continue, but at the level of deputy foreign ministers.
We remind you that in the summer of 2024, the next Ukraine Recovery conference will take place in the capital of Germany.
