Today, Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented secretary Antony Blinken with the Order of Yaroslav the Wise, 2nd class, for his support of Ukraine.
"During the meeting, the president presented Antony Blinken with the Order of Yaroslav the Wise, 2nd class, which he was awarded for significant personal merits in strengthening interstate cooperation, support for the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine", the office of the president Zelenskyy.
According to the president's press service, the parties discussed the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. According to Zelenskyy, Blinken expressed firmness in need to demilitarize the station.
Zelenskyy thanked Blinken for the economic and military assistance the United States reliably provides Ukraine. The president expressed hope for the participation of the United States in the implementation of the Fast Recovery Plan and would be able to become a guarantor of Ukraine's security.
Zelensky and Blinken also discussed cooperation within the framework of the IMF, WBG, and the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. A separate topic was the resumption of grain exports from Ukraine and, thus, the prevention of a food crisis and world hunger.
"The world must prevent the disruption of grain exports from Ukraine," Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Here it is worth remembering that Putin has already begun to lie that Ukraine sends grain only to rich countries but not those in need.
