On July 20, the Ministry of finance of Ukraine reported on the sale of domestic government bonds on the stock

As a government offer investing-in-ukraine/service-for-investors/" rel="dofollow">for investors were provided 5 issues of securities in national currency and one issue in foreign currency.

The term of circulation of the offered government bonds in hryvnia (national currency) is 1 year, 1.5 years, 2 years, 3 years and 5 years. The maturity of the bonds offered in euros was 1 year.

"7,5 billion hryvnias ($284,711.889) were attracted to the state budget from the placement of government securities in the national currency. The greatest demand was concentrated on 2-year government bonds, from the placement of which the state budget attracted 5,4 billion hryvnias," said the Ministry of finance.

At the same time, the weighted average rates on government bonds remained unchanged. The weighted average yield of 1-year government bonds was 10,99%, 1,5-year — 11,30%, 2-year — 12,09%, 3-year — 12,30%, 5-year — 12,59%.

At the same time, €8 million was raised from the placement of foreign currency-denominated government bonds. The weighted average yield on euro-denominated government bonds was 2,50% on 1-year bonds.

The Ministry of finance raised the rates of placement of domestic government bonds at the first auctions after the National Bank raised the discount rate from 6,5% to 7,5%.
