Head of the International Monetary Fund's communications department, Julia Kozak, shared that the Extended Fund Facility for Ukraine will be reviewed this month.
"We expect the first viewing mission to occur later in May," Julia Kozak said.
IMF specialists will arrive in Kyiv and concentrate on reviewing the progress that Ukraine had to make in accordance with the requirements of the EFF program. The greatest attention will be paid to the areas of fiscal policy, public management and exchange rate.
"Of course, the review will take into account the latest developments in the economic and financial spheres, as well as update the prospects and risks for the economy," Kozak added.
The head of the department emphasised that the IMF sees 2 scenarios for the near future of Ukraine: 1 – basic, 2 – not optimistic, as Russian armed aggression against Ukraine still continues.
