On the morning of April 18, the ancient European city of Lviv was shaken up one after another by powerful blows to the city. The Russian army fired 5 missiles at the city, targeting civilian infrastructure.
“5 targeted strikes on Lviv. The relevant services have already left the place. We find out more detailed information,” mayor of the city Andrii Sadovyi.
According to the head of the Ukrainian railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia Olexandr Kamyshin, several missiles exploded near railway facilities. There are no victims.
"In Lviv, they got into civilian infrastructure. There are dead and wounded, among them a child. This is a car, excised by fragments," a representative of the Lviv city administration Mykola Kniazhitskyy.
According to the head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maxym Kozitskyy, several missiles hit civilian infrastructure facilities, and one hit a tire fitting station. Fragments cut the objects, there was a mighty fire, and operational rescue services were already in place. At the moment, it is known about 6 dead civilians and 8 wounded, including 1 child.
According to an adviser to the head of the presidential office, Mykhailo Podolyak, with their barbaric attacks on the ancient city, the Russians cynically declare their “right” to kill the Ukrainian people.
