According to Donetsk information resources, a Точка У ballistic missile fired by Ukrainian militants was shot down in the skies over the city. Parts of the rocket fell in the center of Dоnetsk, killing 20 people and injuring 28 more. However, the Ukrainian side claims that it has not fired in the territory occupied by Russia.
"It's definitely a Russian missile or some other ammunition. Each of you can simply see that Russian propaganda has been saying for eight years that the Ukrainian armed forces are shelling Donetsk and other cities. You can basically look at what Donetsk looks like today in eight years, and you can look at Kharkiv and Mariupol, which the Russian occupation forces have been shelling for more than two weeks," said Leonid Matyukhin, an officer at the Ukrainian Ministry of defense operational information сenter.
Also, on March 14, the Russian Ministry of defense said that Russia was planning new strikes on Ukrainian defense industries and the locations of foreign workers.
The Russian side calls such actions a response to the launch of a missile to strike Donetsk and threatens to take measures to terminate the work of defense industrial enterprises of Ukraine, which are producing, repairing, and rebuilding weapons.
