Romania Became the Security Guarantor of Ukraine

On July 24, Romania became the 18th guarantor together with the EU countries and the USA

The officials agreed to strengthen the relationship to ensure sustainability and security for the countries of Europe and NATO. Romania expressed concern about the Black sea. Russia mined the sea and destroyed the port cities of Ukraine, tearing up the grain agreement that provided food to almost the entire world.

In this way, Romania Luminita Odobescu's foreign affairs minister declared her country's readiness to ratificate the Declaration in support of Ukraine. Recall that the document was presented at the NATO summit in Vilnius in July. This means that another country joins the system of ensuring peace in Ukraine after the victory in the destructive war of Russia. Previously, the Czech Republic, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and other countries signed bilateral treaties. The US government is counting countries willing to support Ukraine in the military sector, cyber defence, and now agricultural food security during and after the war.

In addition, Romania and the United States have agreed to support Ukraine in creating a safe transport of Ukrainian grain. Bucharest is ready to help Kyiv in the long-term and medium-term transit of food.
