On May 10, at the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee hearing, US Joint Chiefs Chairman General Mark Milley took the word of war.
"Other than the speed of the weapon, in terms of its effect on a given target, we are not seeing really significant or game-changing effects to date with the delivery of the small number of hypersonics that the Russians have used," Mark Milley.
As CNN reports with reference to the US military leadership, during the war, Russia used 10-12 supersonic missiles against Ukraine, but this decision did not become a game-changer for the course of the war.
The use of each of the missiles was studied by American intelligence, but the analysis results are only available for a closed hearing of the US Congress. Lloyd Austin supported Mark Milley's decision, and further discussions will take place behind closed doors to journalists.
