A circle of friends of Russia will soon increase by several states. In addition to Iran, Putin can now fly to visit Syria, North Korea and Cuba. Why in these countries? Because they are officially recognised as state sponsors of terrorism. The US Congress intends to soon include Russia in this list.
Nancy Pelosi reportedly approached Antony Blinken with a request to speed up a decision on Russia and recognise it as a state sponsor of terrorism. Pelosi said that if the diplomatic department continues to delay this moment, then Congress will single-handedly launch the procedure for including Russia in the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
We remind you that this June the Senate Committee approved 2 resolutions created to recognise Russia as a sponsor of terrorism.
"I have no doubt, Senator, that the Russians terrorise the Ukrainian people," Antony Blinken said during a congressional hearing.
Also, during Nancy Pelosi's May visit to Kyiv, the speaker stated that "if Russia is not on the list of state sponsors of terrorism, this list should be thrown out." These were not empty words, as Pelosi visited Bucha and Irpin, destroyed by the Russian occupation.
