On December 29, Russia fired more than 120 missiles at Ukraine. 11 regions of the country were affected.
Kyiv region. 16 missiles flew to the capital, each of which was shot down by Ukrainian air defence. More 69 missiles attacked the region; 54 of the were destroyed by Ukrainian air defence. Pieces of missiles damaged 3 houses, a factory and a playground in the city centre. 3 people were injured, including a 13-year-old girl.
Odesa region. The Russians fired 21 missiles over the city.
Lviv region. The mayor of the city, Andrii Sadovy, reported explosions in the city. Damaged power structure objects. 90% of Lviv was left without electricity.
Kharkiv region. 4 Russian missiles hit critical energy facilities. The city is partially without electricity, and the subway does not work.
Zaporizhzhia region. Russian missiles damaged a waterworks. There is no water supply in 3 districts of the region.
Ivano-Frankivsk region. The rocket flew into a residential building but did not explode. You see it on the cover.
Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Poltava, Sumy, Mykolaiv regions — air defence destroyed Russian missiles.
