On February 27, on the 4th day of a full-scale armed invasion of Ukraine, the Russians attacked the Antonov airfield in Gostomel town. They destroyed scientific bases, equipment and hangars. One of them contained the world's only Mriia aircraft (translated from Ukrainian as "dream").
Colonel of the 4th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Artem Ilyukhin gave a brief comment in which he stated that part of the spare parts had disappeared from Mriia. It is likely that the Russians are planning to build something of their own out of them so that later they can be used against Ukraine. How, for example, they did with the missiles that Ukraine handed over to them under the Budapest memorandum.
It is known that Ukraine has already begun to build a new dream. The location of the revival of the legend is, of course, classified.
