Russians Gave Ukrainians a Reason For Romance

In Lviv, during the instrumental concert philharmonic, collapsed the electricity supply. And the musicians continued to perform with flashlights

Due to the Russian terrorist attack on 10 of October, on the cities of Ukraine, electricity in Lviv was lost entirely for a day. The same situation occurred in different parts of Kyiv, Uzhgorod and other cities. The Ukrainians were not upset, and that evening a family dinner by candlelight was held in each of the de-energized apartments.

The Luhansk philharmonic orchestra was forced to leave its birthplace twice. First — in 2014, when terrorists seized part of the Lugansk region and created the so-called "People's Republic". Later in 2022, when the participants of the creative association were again under the bullets of the occupiers. Now, the artists of the philharmonic are in Lviv. At the last performance of the orchestra, its participants once again proved that Ukrainians, their thoughts, and their creativity can survive in any conditions.

Luhansk orchestra performed in Lviv theatre with a prime program for the motives of The Little Prince Antoine de Saint-Exupery. But as a result of a missile strike on the stage of the Lviv organ hall lost electricity. Artists took the lanterns and continued the performance. The musicians set flashlights above the pupitres so that the notes could be seen. Thus, the work received mysterious, fabulous motifs.

The audience liked this format. Some Ukrainians encouraged the artists to return to this format even when there are no breaks with the light.
