On February 26, Saudi prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud arrived on a business visit in Ukraine. A representative of Saudi Arabia met with the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky. During the meeting, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud announced a humanitarian aid package transfer. The Saudi government allocated $410 million for aid formation. Of that amount, 168 tons of humanitarian assistance were acquired. It included building materials for restoring Ukraine and electric generators to eliminate the consequences of Russian attacks on power facilities. Saudi Arabia also bought medicines for Ukrainian hospitals that save the military and civilians.
On March 4, the state agency SPA reported that 2 aircraft with the announced assistance package had already flown to Ukraine. Currently, 168 tons are located at the Polish airport Rzeszow.
